GROOMER APPRENTICE

Sophia Hansen

With 2.5 years of grooming salon experience, Sophia brings both care and dedication to her work. She’s all about helping dogs feel their best—inside and out. For her, grooming isn’t just about a clean coat; it’s about making sure each pup feels calm, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.  She’s also a dog walker, which has deepened her understanding of canine behavior and body language—skills that help her create a safer, more positive grooming experience for every dog. One of her favorite parts of the job is working with senior dogs, anxious pups, rescues, and those with special needs—helping them feel safe, gain confidence, and leave looking (and feeling) great. Creating that kind of trust and comfort means the world to her. Outside of the salon, she channels her love for dogs into training her own pup, Kiko, in agility—fostering a strong bond built on trust, patience, and fun.
